Le printemps 2008 est arrivé et avec lui les chaleurs de Nina :-)) Nous avons donc retenter une nouvelle expérience de saillie, cette fois avec notre "Flynn". Tout s'est très bien passé jusqu'au moment où la naissance des bébés devait se faire. Le doute s'est installé et nous sommes allées chez son vétérinaire pour une échographie de contrôle. Et une nouvelle fois, ce fut la catastrophe : Nina avait bien porté quelques chiots mais ils étaient tous morts. La décision de la faire stériliser n'a pas été très difficile à prendre vu son antécédent. Mais tout de même, quel regret de n'avoir pas eu au moins 1 ou 2 chiots d'elle, j'aurais tellement aimé la voir pouponner, elle qui est si maternelle, et peut-être garder une fille :-((( Mais son lignage est désormais assuré par le biais de son fils Ch. Vigo du Clos des Duchesses avec Florence et c'est Dainty Dor Damona of Glenmorangie qui, peut-être, prendra la relève.
Nina vit maintenant une retraite heureuse et assume parfaitement son rôle d'éducatrice !!!
Elle vous souhaite un Joyeux Noël et une Heureuse Année 2009 pleine de succès :-))) Nina est titulaire de son TAN "A-Excellent" avec 98/100 points et de son CSAU "Excellent".

Everything did very well until the date of puppies birth. We suddenly doubted and we went to her vet for a control ultrasound scan. And once again, that was the disaster : Nina carried few babies but all dead. Spaying her was not such a hard decision to take seeing what happened last year. All the same, what a regret not to have any puppy from her, I so much would love to see her looking after them, she is so maternal, and maybe keeping a daughter :-((( But, from now on, her lineage is established via her son Ch. Vigo du Clos des Duchesses with Florence and it is Dainty Dor Damona of Glenmorangie who, perhaps, will take over.
Nina now lives a happy retirement and perfectly assume her educator role !!!
